APPEARANCE: Rae is a young woman in her mid-twenties. She has long black hair that tends to fall in very loose curls past her shoulders. She has a slight dancer's figure with notably long and shapely legs. In fact, they are her most remarked upon feature. Rae is pretty but not unapproachably so. Her features speak of her mixed blood, though it is mostly Indian and African. She also has soulful, dark eyes. -Pic-

HISTORY: LaRaesa grew up in an orphanage in the tiny village of São Jorge, Brazil. While she has no more than fuzzy memories of her early childhood, she was told that she was left with the Sisters by an elder woman who claimed to have found the lone child wandering the grasslands of Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park, to which the village serves as entrance. Though feral when she was found, Rae was young enough that she caught up to the other children fairly quickly. Even so, she prefered to be on her own. She was not unfriendly... just solitary and contently so.
As a young teenager, Rae left her beautiful home with escalating wanderlust licking at her heels. In São Jorge, a local gang leader discovered the girl had sticky fingers and was fleet of foot, making her a valuable asset to the small time crime boss. But, it was the challenge that appealed to Rae rather than any natural covetousness. To be honest, it was a game to her, something that distracted her from the odd pressure and strange restlessness that was building within.
Rae's first change was unexpected and bloody. A burst of rage thrown full force against injustice and cruelty. It does not haunt her and she has no regrets. Arriving at one of the squats serving the cartel, Rae heard a struggle and soon discovered that one of the local girls was being punished for trying to back out of serving as a mule. Suddenly, it wasn't a game anymore... and the world turned red. The girl was able to escape while her attackers were torn to bits. The news reported a pack of rabid, feral dogs were on the loose and Rae fled as far as she could.
She arrived in New York city on the night of her nineteenth birthday. The young shifter served as a courier and even gained a bit of fame for her punctuality and speed. But, yet again, she was seduced to the dark side of the city when she discovered that her natural gift for speed and reflex translated to driving as well. Her days were spent running messages all over the city while her nights were for running with the local racers and boosters. This time, however, she set herself a goal. Within two year, Rae had earned enough to purchase herself a beautiful, brand new car of her own. Rather than waiting around for Karma to bite her in the ass, Rae took to the road again. This time, she traveled all over the country, never settling long in one place.
